Our recent “Message in a Bottle” promotion asked Perth travel agents - “What is your perfect holiday experience?”

    Check out their responses below!….

A week staying above the ocean, where there is only Majestic Views of the Ocean, the Sun, Water, Good Food, Wine, The Love of your life & ME!!

A new experience - mixture of relaxing & outdoor activities plus good food and wine!

    Relaxation! Experiencing local wonders!

I love a real outback adventure holiday, being out in the wilderness and enjoying the peace and quite.

I love WA so would always like to explore more of it and be pampered at the same time.

Time away to recharge the batters, be pampered and relax and see the great sights of WA

I am from NZ so I would love to see some of outback WA.

Time away from the computer to relax and learn more about Australia.

Holidays should include relaxation, sightseeing and time to recharge the batteries. Anywhere in the top of WA is a ideal holiday experience.

    Quiet time and hot weather!!!

    Relaxation..peace..great views and dining

I love to be in the fresh air and have to be near the water. Eco Beach sounds like the perfect place to be.

To travel to eco beach walk on the beach and enjoy the nature it has to offer, plus with the luxury of the resort has to offer.

eco beach broome with my husband-checking on whats new since we last stayed prior to the hurricane

on the beach with a large multi coloured cocktail complete with stupid umbrella and chunks of fruit garnish

Somewhere I can totally relax and be pampered and not have a care in the world

getting back to nature and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city

is when i can sit down and just take in all the quietness and beauty around me, to sit and relax

    Relaxing and enjoying the sun.

luxury combined with sunshine, good service, pristine beaches and a touch of adventure!

Sitting on the verandah, after a spa, sipping cocktails at Eco Beach, before dinner!

to be a million miles from anywhere. to re-experience the outback nightsky

    Cocktails, Massages and Nothingness

Somewhere I can totally relax!!! No hustle and bustle - no cars - just full of sun and beautiful water to calm me.

To go and stay somewhere i have never been or seen before. Every Travel experience is ideal !!!!

quiet, peaceful and relaxing in comfort

Pool, beach, spa, cocktail, relaxing, warm weather

Relaxing, easygoing but still able to experience everything the city/place has to offer

Dreaming of the sandy beach, the red rocks, relaxing, walking and being a Million Miles from anywhere.

getaway with my family on a secluded & luxurious beach with plenty of good food & a bit of fishing.

Absolute relaxation and being surrounded by natural beauty!

relaxing on a beach somewhere, listening to the waves

A beautiful and serene location. A place to relax and absorb my surroundings.

being able to experience the culture of a destination and come away wanting more

    RELAXATION

    Hmmmm…

Relaxing on a pristine white sandy beach in a remote location.

Sitting by the beach drinking cocktails, eating lot’s of seafood and swimming at the beach!

my ideal holiday would be a holiday that is active unusal and unique, something along the lines of studying atronomy on the mountain of the big island of hawaii. however i am not sure if you can actually do that as a holiday.

To breakaway with the love of my life for a private, fun and relaxing adventure :o)

A weekend away from work and civilization to relax and enjoy ‘me’ time in beautiful surrounds with no interuptions!

Experiencing new things, relaxing, and arriving home feeling refreshed and like I have discovered something!

    Trans-Siberian

Time out to relax and unwind

Being away from the crowds at a place like Eco Beach

Sit back and relax with a number of physical activities to blend into the holiday

To be somewhere where you can relax and be spoilt while enjoying the environment in its natural surroundings

Hmmm, relaxing in style in a nature, serenity and peace. But being able to get out and be active at the same time, go bushwalking, kayaking, snorkeling etc. So a holiday for body and soul. :o)

Adventure plus natural beauty for a short stay, culture and history for a long one!

I always go backpacking, touring and do working holidays it would be amazing to have a purely self indulgent holiday where I can relax, unwind and enjoy the serenity :o)

Much along the lines that you are offering - low key but luxurious escapism!!

Lots of relaxation and massages, great beaches and good sunsets!

My ideal holiday experience is all about warm weather, beautiful beaches and culture in whatever country it may be even Australia. Relax, adventurous anything!! I like quiet and rural better as I’m not a big city lots of people around person.

    Relaxation with water surrounding

Relaxing in uncrowded and unspoilt location with good food & wine

Seeing new places, relaxing and having an adventure!

FUN FOR THE KIDS, RELAXATION FOR THE PARENTS

    Sunshine and tranquility

Relaxing in the sun at a beachside resort

    Eco Beach, of course!

    Beach, sunshine, swimming, relaxing!

Experiencing the ultimate destination relaxing by the ocean, and drinking in the sun drenched surroundings, feeling like I am the only one one in the world blending in with beautiful surroundings a million miles away from anything and anyone and to have this all in my own backyard that would be the ideal experience, I think ecobeach defininately is that experience!

  • Eco Beach produces a huge Bluebone

Very credible reports this week of a HUGE Bluebone caught just out from Eco Beach resort. Project manager Locky Graves and resort owner Karl Plunkett fished a “secret” spot within clear eye shot of the resort’s ocean front bar and restaurant. Fishing during the big spring tides they drifted over some reefy patches, hooking - and losing - some very big fish until lucky Locky managed to hold on to one long enough to steer it away from its reefy lair. After several more powerful runs the fish was beaten and a delighted Locky boated his biggest ever Bluebone at a whopping 70cm! Mr Plunkett is known for being a rather competitive fishermen -and proud of it - so i’m sure he would have been green with envy at Locky’s capture. However, knowing Karl i’m also certain he will be seeking fishy revenge with Locky!

We await photos of Locky’s capture and will download these onto the website soon

  • Eco Beach, new Broome resort nears completion

As April 2009 comes to an end its certainly proved itself to be a very exciting month down at Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat. This week we should start to see construction draw to a close and the main focus switching from building up to cleaning up!

Over the past few weeks, up to 50 construction workers have completed a host of major jobs such as the final kitchen fit outs, flooring, tiling and painting of all the villas, Jack’s Bar and function/health suite

Brett Donald of Alternative Power Solutions (APS) has now successfully completed the installation and activation of the resort’s Solar powered grid system, meaning we are now energy positive!

The driveway has been bitumenised which has given Eco Beach a huge visual lift and at last the resort is starting to look more like a proper resort rather than a construction site!

As of today 28th April, the beautiful ocean front Infinity swimming pool will begin filling with water. The final areas to be lawned will be laid by Friday and Dave Wilson our fishing charter operator will begin tending to the moorings in preparation for the flurry of private boats expected for our opening weekend in June.

Cleaning up after such a huge construction job can take time and is a laborious but essential part of the overall job. We may have come far in the past few weeks but the hard graft is certainly not over yet!
